Heat Sealing Tape is mainly used on machines that reach extreme temperatures; such as bag or vacuum sealers. The tape is a barrier to a heat source like a hot wire. When items are being sealed they will not melt because of the Heat Sealing tape protection. It has a low friction surface and is abrasion resistant. The Heat Sealing tape is covered in polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) which is a substance that allows the tape to withstand extreme temperatures.
